Tu eres el gato!

Today was quite beautiful, though unfortunately I was inside most of the time and couldn't see it. But it is that time of year of apple cider, crisp air, sweaters and colorful foliage. And part of me misses home a lot, being able to get out and see the leaves and to have pumpkin soup instead of being stuck studying, practicing and working all the time.

But I do have Ms. Norris to keep me company. Okay, that is isn't her name. But, for her safety, I shall keep her name a secret:o). This is the kitty that likes to hiss at me constantly. Though, I am sure she gets quite lonely around the house since she doesn't seem to like me around. She does enjoy to chase around the string I like to tease her with (in a good way...she needs to play with someone!) And be warned! She may look cute and cuddly but I have been hissed at quite a few times!

Today reminded me of how my dad would talk to my cat saying "tu eres el gato!" over and over again. A little weird, yes, but that is family. Like when I had to get shots when I was younger, my dad would have me count downward from 10 in Spanish.
